On my own, I am still researching my ancestors, belonging to the MARK family. I could not get further than until 1806, where my gr-grandfather CARL MARK, who was a Wachtmeister (Seargeant) at the Gruenes Husarenregiment (green hussar regiment), led by Gettkandt in the german army.

He was killed at the Battle of Jena and Auerstedt, and I am hungrily curious about where my ancestor was, when he died.My complete Mark-ancestry until CARL can be downloaded as GEDCOM file, it is 48KB huge (not very huge, actually).
